Review/Select Tactics for the Month – Nicole did a presentation that went over the importance and purpose of strategy charts using resources from Midwest academy. As a coalition, we identified tactics that can be used to bring awareness of the coalition, grow our coalition membership, and bring more allies to the table for the smoke-free air campaign that will be launched. Some suggested tactics were:

  1. Write to the council people individually to introduce the coalition

  2. Maintain membership with the Chamber of Commerce

  3. Develop Hobart Specific Supporter Cards

  4. Hosting some kind of food or coat drive for holiday season

  5. Work with Churches

  6. Work with Brickies (school sporting events)

  7. Use Community Page to become involved in community events

  8. Connect with Hobart Community Newsletter

  9. Dairy Queen is a popular community spot

  10. TFLC Stress Brick for Golf Carts

  11. Golf Carts in Parades
